Temparc Music is a Canadian digital record label based in Guelph, Ontario. Originally launched in 2015 as a sublabel of the wonderful but now-defunct Wide Angle Recordings, Temparc has evolved into a stand-alone label after a brief hiatus from 2017-2019.
Temparc is run by Canadian musician Philip James de Vries and focuses on releasing left-of-centre music that is experimental, but pleasantly listenable, with a heavy focus on atmosphere and melody. Sometimes the music released on Temparc is DJ-friendly, other times it's best suited to headphone or at-home listening.
